AJ Plumb
Actor
Charismatic, Creative, Compassionate

Alexander (AJ) Plumb is an actor based in New York from January through June, spending July and August in Amsterdam at the International Theater Workshop, and relocating to Los Angeles beginning in September. He is graduating from New York University in May with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Drama and a minor in Business of Entertainment, Media, and Technology, and has trained at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting, the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute, and Stonestreet Studios.
Born and raised in Southern California, AJ discovered his passion for performing in the third grade after playing the King of Hearts in Alice in Wonderland. His favorite roles include performing Macbeth with NYU Shakespeare in the Square, playing Nick Bottom in Something Rotten! in high school, and originating the role of Richard in The Newlywed Game in an original production at the Playwrights Horizons Theater School. Drawn to both classical and contemporary work, these experiences helped shape his approach to character, storytelling, and collaboration.
Prior to pursuing acting professionally, AJ served as the Youth Lieutenant Governor of California through the Youth and Government program, presiding over bill debates in the California State Capitol, an experience that strengthened his leadership, presence, and ability to communicate with clarity, all of which continue to inform his work as an actor.
Supported by a deeply encouraging family, AJ approaches acting with a collaborative mindset and a love of immersive character work. He is represented by RAFCO Management, employed by Matrix Modeling Staffing, and is a California certified bartender. Outside of his professional work, his interests include Dodger baseball, pickleball, yoga, collecting Broadway playbills, and the occasional celebrity impression.
